Abstract: In recent years, the rural construction has become a social movement. Various fields, including architecture, have regarded rural areas as important research and practice objects. From a practical perspective, architectural practices have moved forward and driven one of the important forces in rural construction. On the basis of a largr number of achievements, the rural architecture and architectural design have exposed a certain number of problems and misunderstandings. Based on years of research and practice, the author elaborates on his roles and attitudes to architecture and architectural design in rural construction. At the end of the article, the possibility of creating “rural architecture” is proposed.
