Abstract: The landscape line of Quanzhou Coastal Grand Freeway project focuses on the landscape upgrading of the greenbelts in the coastal grand freeway as well as the linear green space on the west of the road in Jinjiang and Shishi. City. Through the design strategies of enhancing ecological continuity, shaping pastoral landscape, as well as site-specific disposal, the road landscape is expected to be transformed into a more near-natural state along with the simplicity of a seaside and pastoral style. A greenway system, service facilities including resting stations and rainwater collection spots are added in the west green space, blending the recreation function with the ecological function. Prospectively, coastal grand freeway is likely to become a park avenue that promotes urban development and highlights the image of the city, laying a foundation for the construction of the pastoral landscape city in Quanzhou.
