Controlling Strategies of Urban Ecological Space Protection Based on Usage Promotion: A Case Study of Quanzhou Ecological Continuous Belt

In the process of rapid urbanization, the prominent conflicts between urban development and ecological protection have emerged continually in Quanzhou area, as a result of the longtime old-fashioned development mode, which has caused the squeeze of urban construction land, and the decrease as well as the fragments of ecological space year by year. When it comes to the practical experience from home and abroad in terms of ecological space management and protection, the key point to build "manageable" ecological space and solve the controlling contradictions can be completed by emphasizing the wise utilization of ecological space, providing ecological products that highlight the ecological value and promoting ecological consensus. Taking Quanzhou "ecological continuous belt project" as an example, this paper actively explores the controlling strategies of urban ecological space protection based on usage promotion, and proposes three levels of each eco-space, including building country parks in the region of ecological defense, putting the theme of recreation into eco-corridors, and promoting the urban vitality in the ecological experience zone, which will contribute to the consensus on ecological management and work out the dilemma of unmanageable in ecological space.
