Analysis of Influencing Factors of Residents’ Recreation Satisfaction in Urban Comprehensive Parks: A Case Study of Shenzhen Comprehensive Park

  • An urban comprehensive park is a main space for residents’ daily recreation. Determining and measuring the influencing factors of residents’ recreation satisfaction is of great significance to improve the recreation quality of the park. Taking account of the urban comprehensive park recreation characteristics and influencing factors, this paper constructs the structural equation model of the recreation satisfaction influencing factors, and makes an empirical study using the data from the digital city management information system of Shenzhen. The results show that among the five potential variables influencing residents’ recreation satisfaction, the affective utility perception and landscape environment perception have the greatest influence on residents’ satisfaction, followed by accessibility, facility service perception and safety assurance perception. In-depth analysis shows that observation variables, such as “relaxation”, “stress relief”, and “physical exercise” in the affective utility perception, and “garbage removal” and “vegetation conservation” in the “landscape environment perception”, have more obvious effects on the potential variables, which are the main factors influencing residents’ recreation satisfaction. On the basis of the research results, the authors put forward policy suggestions to improve the recreational quality of urban comprehensive parks.
