Research on Planning and Design Approach of Vegetation Restoration Based on Climax-pattern Hypothesis

More Information
  • Published Date: August 24, 2017
  • egetation restoration is a hot field with important theoretical and practical value. In previous studies, the relationship between theoretical mechanism and practical application is limited, vegetation restoration has not been able to form systematic steps and ways. Firstly, Based on the climax-pattern hypothesis, eight hypothetical theories are summarized, which are based on the whole vegetation restoration process. Then, by integrating theoretic points and vegetation restoration, the existing technologies were integrated. And finally put forward a set of universal vegetation restoration planning and design approach, including five steps: site analysis of vegetation restoration, select the restoration time plan, select habitat restoration measures, identify critical restoration locations, restoration monitoring and evaluation.
